📝 Parent note: The card format frontloads decoding into a high-interest context (kids love trading cards). Each card has a chunked name and a chunked move — that's two multi-syllable reads per card. Stats and flavor lines use only CVC/sight words. After page 1, encourage your child to cut out the six cards and re-shuffle them into a "deck" they read back to you in a different order. The battle script on page 2 is a roleplay re-read.
