The sky was dark. The wind was loud. "Look at the sky!" said Mom.
"Is it going to rain?" I asked.
Then — BOOM! A loud clap of thunder!
"Run inside, fast!" Mom said.
We ran in and shut the door. The rain came down hard. "Are you scared?" Mom asked.
"No, I am safe with you!" I said. We sat by the window and watched the big storm.
