Seeds Grow

A seed is small. But a big plant lives inside! Seeds need three things to grow: soil, water, and sun.

First, we plant a seed in the soil. Next, we add water. The seed gets a drink. Then, the sun warms the soil.

Soon, a tiny root grows down. A green stem grows up. Last, leaves and a flower pop out. The plant is alive! Now it can make its own brand new seeds, and the whole amazing cycle starts all over again.
